With 10million+ (actually, 16 million) in Buenos Aires province and right next to it, La Pampa has only 100,000-500,000 so the population range is very high and mostly random though you can see more people live in the north than the south.

Is it the same for everybody or is it different depending on who you are or where you live?

About 13 million people, about 1/3 of the population, live in Buenos Aires province.

Buenos Aires is so populated because that is where the settlers first came in and since, there hasn’t been a good enough reason for everyone to move, so most people just stayed and built up the city even more, to make there even less reason to leave.

The south isn’t so populated because it’s cold, so cold that the average for some of the southern provinces are down to 5 degrees Celsius.

Almost 90% of Argentina’s population lives in cities, making Argentina one of the world’s most urbanised countries.
